Big Show Unhappy With WWE, Shoots On Raw! Money In The Bank Plans! | WrestleTalk News June 2017

Hello and welcome to the WrestleTalk News! I’m Oli Davis. Flashback Thursdays… 2011 was a different time. The first brand split had come to an end. The Anonymous Raw General Manager wasn’t
going anywhere. And six years to the day tomorrow, WWE ran
one of its best angles in recent times, with CM Punk escaping through the crowd with the
WWE Championship, blowing Vince McMahon a kiss, after beating John Cena in Money in
the Bank’s main event. Meanwhile, over in the UK during 2011, Raw’s
current day Cruiserweight roster were wrestling for Dragon Gate. Akira Tozawa has shared a photo of his fellow
wrestlers from the promotion – the very young looking Noam Dar, Jack Gallagher and PAC,
who now wrestles for WWE as Neville. It’s like looking at the Cruiserweight division’s
version of Muppet Babies. Big Show Shoots On WWE
Big Show might currently be involved in the Who Beat Up Enzo and Big Cass storyline on
Raw, but that doesn’t mean he has to like it. Show appeared on a recent episode of Chris
Jericho’s podcast Talk is Jericho to effectively deliver a Knockout Punch to WWE’s television
product. “I love the live events; I love the Friday,
Saturday, Sunday live event shows. I hate TVs. TVs I just want to bash myself in the head
with a hammer, cause they’re just long, useless, time-wasting, bulls*** days where
you sit around all day for some frickin’ idea that absolutely sucks. Debating it for hours, 17,000 different inputs,
you know, one or two guys laced their wrestling boots up in their life and they’re talking,
and the other ones have never laced up a pair and don’t know s***, but for some reason
they’re telling you what to do. So, you’re just walking around baffled,
going ‘why are we doing this?’” Big Show’s comments echo other reports and
rumours on the backstage environment at WWE TV tapings – constant script rewrites and
talent only being told what they’re doing hours before the broadcast starts. And the rest you can see for yourselves – inconsistent
storylines, bad comedy segments and rushed matches. Big Show went onto say that he much prefers
to tell stories in the ring, not just coming down, delivering one Knockout Punch to a heel,
and walking off. But don’t be angry at him for his bad angles
on TV, blame the writers: “…most of the s*** I’ve done on TV and
pay-per-view I didn’t get to pick to do anyway, so don’t be mad at me, be mad at
the people that booked this s***.” Show appears to be winding down his career,
with his current contract expiring in February next year. That’s why he got in such good shape ahead
of this year’s Wrestlemania, as he believed it would be his last. But despite building it up for almost a year,
his special attraction match with Shaq never happened. Wrestlemania In London? Speaking of Wrestlemania, WWE have reportedly
sent out a survey asking about future potential host cities: with places known for their hot
wrestling crowds, like New York, Toronto and just a little old place called LONDON! The last major pay-per-view held in the UK
was 1992’s Summerslam at Wembley Stadium, which still stands as WWE’s fourth highest
attended show ever – even with their bogus inflation figures for Wrestlemania III, 29
and 32. Money In The Bank Plans
But way before a Wrestlemania abroad, it’s Money in the Bank this Sunday – which you
can watch mine and Luke Owen’s predictions for in the brand new WrestleRamble right here
on WrestleTalk’s YouTube channel (cheap pop). The latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter is
reporting that a legends segment is planned for the show, because of St Louis’ rich
history of professional wrestling. Dave Meltzer writes that Ric Flair, Bob Orton
Jr, Larry Hennig, Baron Von Raschke and Greg Gagne are all confirmed for the show – with
Gerald Brisco, Rocky Johnson and Ted DiBiase being possible additions. While the nature of the segment is not yet
known, it could very well play into the WWE title feud between Randy Orton and Jinder
Mahal, as both have made reference to Orton’s wrestling family lineage in the build up to
their match. WrestleTalk Patreon Shout Outs

  1. I totally feel Show on this and i wish more people wouldn't bash the wrestlers for this.

Alot of the people bash the wrestlers for the shit that they say on TV, eventhough it's the writers fault, for not giving them good material on what they use. Infact, just remove the writers and let the wrestlers be themselves. Austin never needed any writers for his stuff.

Maybe guys like Reigns, Balor, Ambrose and whoever it is on the roster, could make better promos without memorizing these shitty lines.

  2. That Big Show/Shaq match would have been terrible anyway. Now Big Show vs. Kazaam, that's a match i could watch!

  3. raw is the worst wrestling show ever! smackdown, ROH, TNA, Lucha Underground and New Japan are all better than raw.

  4. If WrestleMania will be held in London, that show would have to start early in the afternoon here in the North American Eastern Time Zone. Mania is SOOOOOOO long now.

  5. there's no doubt Big Show is gonna be a HoF legend,he just doesn't have that much more to give to the industry,he should retire so he doesn't ruin his legacy anymore than WWE has done in the last few years,we'll care about the big lug,but it's time to hang it up,just saying, dbh

  6. Do I not recall someone from the UK complain about the recent RAW held there? Something about boring? Well, it don't get no better in a PPV. It's all boring.

  7. Big show sums up how much creativity is lost in creative, show has had enough, if you make this giant mad, someone who could've retired 10 years ago, and after all this you manage to piss him off too, a company guy! You know exactly wwe raw absolutely sucks and is its lowest point today.

  8. Big Show just proved that he's got balls to say the truth. And not just some ordinary balls but "Great Balls of Fire"!

  9. Big Show is right to shoot on WWE, the company is not even trying any new ideas anymore.

If you ask me, Wrestlemania 35 should be held in San Diego, California.

  10. I watch wwe and realize it's so different from normal jobs! I mean look, wwe had a guy that walked out and disrespected the boss, and all the boss does is fire him.

  11. would love to see big show to pop up in the battle royal at wrestle kingdom next year Lol I mean Scott Norton was there why not show

  12. I agreed with Big Show comment about the TV's 3 hours on RAW with more talking and less action it 3 f**king hours of Monday night RAW there should be more matches for us the fans to get in vested on the other talents that RAW has but nope. That why Smackdown has my vote of being the best of WWE

  13. Can we add the Muppet Babies reference to your 'Best of 2017 So Far' nomination list?

  14. Going to keep disliking until Oli realises the difference between a Cheap Plug, and a Cheap Pop. He gets it wrong in literally every video…I've been subscribed for years, but this really bugs me as it's just completely wrong.

If you see this Oli, please use the correct term, it's bugging me a lot! 😂

  15. Big Show looked so bored when he went out there and awkwardly held Enzo's hand on RAW. His new look and new attire do nothing.

  16. the writers usually have to make last minute rewrites because russo gets some crazy idea last minute and both of them including mcmahon are out of touch on what can work and can't

  17. The writers Fucking Suck ! And this kiddie friendly show shit sucks!!!! Fuck MEeeeeeeeee! Give us the attitude era again!!! I wanna see sable almost naked again!

  18. Big Show's not wrong. Raw definitely throws off a micromanaged, overly scripted feel. They tend to drag shit out beyond the point of people caring about it. This includes go-nowhere feuds, and teasing shit to happen that ends up not happening. Smackdown is heading down that path. Guys with the loudest pops are in the midcard, so they can push jinder fuckin mahal. Gotta take that $200 india market from TNA. Yes, I meant $200.

  19. I enjoyed this channel but as of now I'm going to stop watching wrestling why watch a fucking show that all it does is piss me off because of the stupid ass creative team they have and the stupid ideas they have like how the fuck are they going to have a man interfere with a first ever WITB ladder match some fucking history making there first ever WOMEN'S MONEY IN THE BANK LADDER MATCH WON BY A MAN good job wwe on making the list THE LIST OF MORONS

  20. If I could give WWE one piece of criticism to work on, it'd be simple. IT'S BORING. IT'S BORING AND REPETITIVE. Just get some good stories, for fuck sake.

  21. Who cares cm punk was over in 2011 that's it he sucked in 12-14 he's selfish and he ain't coming back cause he's so hard headed he won't come back I think
