Cardio Kickboxing Exercises & Tips : How to Front Punch in Cardio Kickboxing

My name is Chemin Alldredge. I am a 2nd degree
Black Belt in Tae Kwan Do. I am here with Expert Village and today we will be going
over beginner Cardio Kickboxing. Now we are going to go ahead and work on our punches.
First we’re going to do the front punch. We want to make sure we do the front punch properly
so we don’t hurt our wrist and that we are making sure we get a good workout. So when
we are here, the bag is my opponent. I always want to stay sideways so I am not vulnerable.
I want to go ahead and keep my body covered up. Both guards up. When I throw my punch,
I want to twist my wrist. It comes from the inner and turns out. I keep my hand nice and
solid. I’m grabbing the bar grip on my glove and I am pushing. Push, two, three, four,
five, and now I am going to go ahead and move our feet. We’re going to just bounce back
and forth. One, two, three, four, five. When we lean forward, we’re going to punch. Punch.
Punch. And if you want, you can go ahead and go around the bag, nice and light. And after
you get that, you want to make sure you just keep pushing your arm out. Nothing hard. If
you want, when you want to get a little bit more advanced, you can start using more power
when pushing the bag. You can do that for 30 seconds really hard and then do light weight.
Go back to light. That is your front punch.
