FULL WWE WRESTLEMANIA 35 CARD REVEALED?! New NXT Champion LEAKED?! | WrestleTalk News Mar. 2019

Thank you for your support on Patreon, The
Hundred Dollar Man CD Hauver! Hello and welcome to the WrestleTalk MECHA
NEWS, I am Luke Owen. Press the thumbs up and hit the subscribe button harder than Oli
Davis will hit El Fakidor in their wrestling match on Monday – which will be contested
inside of YouTube from what I can gather, I’m all very confused by the whole thing
– and leave a comment down below to answer our question of the day: Who would you like
to see walk away as NXT Champion after TakeOver: New York? We’ve got a packed show of news
today including the latest WrestleMania plans, news on who the NXT Champion might be, All
Elite Wrestling signing a former Impact Wrestling champion and more. But first. Brooklyn Nine-Nine star Stephanie Beatriz
– whose name I may be saying totally wrong and I’m sorry for that [4-screen] – had
quite an emotional ride when the show was cancelled by Fox, only for it to be picked
up by NBC for a sixth season. However she shared a seemingly worse ride from a few days
ago, when she posted on Instagram how she was held up in traffic by someone doing a
photoshoot – only to reveal that the person doing the photoshoot was the former Russian
accented Lana! Maybe WWE could arrange a crossover where the cast of Brooklyn Nine-Nine show
up on Smackdown and team with Rey Mysterio for Brooklyn Six One Nine-Nine. Ahem.. “You
sure you want to go with that one? “Absolutely it was hilarious” “Alright” Or maybe WWE can get them involved with WrestleMania?
Because with Alexa Bliss hosting, those SNL dudes being special correspondents and Elias
doing a musical number, you may as well just add more pointless guff onto what is reportedly
an already stacked card. Which may now be slightly more clearer. For the last few weeks it’s been reported
that WWE have left all their WrestleMania plans to the last minute, often changing their
minds and altering plans on a daily basis. While previous WrestleManias are in place
in skeleton form in November or December, WWE reportedly waited until March to get things
finalised. And even then, there are still matches up in the air. So far we know that Ronda Rousey will defend
her Raw Women’s Championship against Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair, Seth Rollins will
challenge Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship, The Miz will clash with Shane McMahon, Batista
will GET WHAT HE WANTS with Triple H, and AJ Styles will face off against Randy Orton.
Also announced this week was Samoa Joe vs. Rey Mysterio for the United States Championship,
Buddy Murphy defending his Cruiserweight Championship against Tony Neese, and Kurt Angle vs. Baron
Corbin in Angle’s farewell match. Which according to Justin LeBar is not going to
happen, but PWInsider are reporting will take place and is the concrete plan as of right
now. We can also assume that Daniel Bryan will defend his WWE Championship against Kofi
Kingston, and Roman Reigns will accept the challenge Drew McIntyre. It was also announced
that Asuka will defend her Women’s Championship against the winner of Mandy Rose vs. Naomi
vs. Carmella vs. Sonya Deville. Though going by Smackdown’s track record of – CARD
SUBJECT TO CHANGE – that could end up being changed to a tag match that doesn’t take
place. So if you’re keeping score at home, that’s
eleven matches on the WrestleMania card so far, but it’s been reported that this year’s
event will likely have a whopping 17 matches on a butt-numbing eight hour show. So what’s
filling out the rest of the card? John Cena has been rumoured for a match for
some time and is still scheduled to wrestle, but there have been no hints given on who
that will be against – unless it’s R-Truth of course – and Dave Meltzer has reported
in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that he’s been told The Usos will defend their
Tag Team Championships in what could be a multi-team match, and Bayley and Sasha Banks
will defend their tag titles against The Divas of Doom, Nia Jax and Tamina and IIconics.
Along with the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal – which Braun Strowman confirmed himself
for on Raw, and the WrestleMania Women’s Battle Royal which will take place according
to the Observer, that’s 16 matches so far. However there are also reports that Bobby
Lashley will defend his Intercontinental Championship against Finn Balor as The Demon, and The Revival
will defend their tag titles against Aleister Black and Ricochet – which will make 18
matches. And that doesn’t include the Elias performance,
Alexa Bliss segments, SNL dudes doing whatever it is they’re doing, or a possible Undertaker
appearance if this production truck is to be believed. So, settle in folks this is going
to be a long show. Although going by a new report, it won’t
be WrestleMania where we see the return of the Dead Man. In Oli Davis’ news episode yesterday he
talked about a Michelle McCool Instagram post that suggested Undertaker might be returning
to WWE, which was aided by an image posted by Wrestling Inc of Taker’s face appearing
on WrestleMania production trucks. While a lot of this could just be speculation – after
all Undertaker is going to be doing Starrcast II soon and, well that’s just a truck – it
has been reported that Vince McMahon was very upset about Undertaker taking the Starrcast
booking. So much so in fact, that some reports even said that Vince was trying to get Taker
pulled from the event with the hopes of having him appear at WrestleMania. And it would seem that, in some capacity,
Vince McMahon is going to get his way, as Dave Meltzer has noted in the latest Observer:
“Whatever issues there were with Undertaker doing Starrcast may not have been settled,
but they aren’t strong enough to keep Undertaker off the Saudi Arabia show on 5/3”. If Undertaker
is wrestling on that show – which seems likely otherwise he’ll just be there to cut an
awkward Raw 25 style promo – that also means Taker isn’t retired like we all thought
he was following the controversial Crown Jewel and the somewhat disastrous match with his
brother Kane against D-Generation X. It has been heavily reported previously that
WWE has a very lucrative money deal with Saudi Arabia, with Meltzer noting that, “even
though Mania is promoted as the biggest show of the year, the two Saudi shows are, by a
wide margin, the two biggest money events of the year for the company.” Speaking of returns and it’s been reported
by PWInsider that Chris Sabin is returning to Impact Wrestling.
Mike Johnson is reporting that Sabin’s Ring of Honor contract has expired and he chose
not to renew it. His last appearance for the company was on January 12th where he tore
his ACL, with reports saying he will be out for six-twelve months, with Johnson reporting
that he has still yet to get surgery on the injury. Sabin will reportedly be returning
to Impact as a backstage producer for this weekend’s tapings, where he will also be
joined by fellow new producer Lance Storm. D’Lo Brown and Paul London worked as backstage
producers at the Las Vegas tapings, and Mike Johnson is reporting that, “We are told
that the company is working on finding the right mix of producers to replace Sonjay Dutt
and Abyss and will be trying different producers before settling into a decision on permanent
replacements.” And those weekend TV ticket sales are doing
very well indeed according to Dave Meltzer over at the Wrestling Observer. The Saturday show which will feature Jordaynne
Grace vs. the returning Madison Rayne, Sami Callihan teaming with former Sanity member
Mad Man Fulton, Double or Nothing battle royal entrant Ace Austin, the debut of Josh Alexander
and Impact Wrestling producer Petey Williams stepping back into the ring once again has
completely sold out according to Meltzer – with the Sunday show also doing very well, which
will see Johnny Impact team with LAX to take on Brian Cage and The Lucha Bros. But someone who won’t be at those tapings
is Allie, as it was announced yesterday that former Knockout Champion has now left Impact
to sign with All Elite Wrestling. The signing was revealed in the eighth episode
of The Road to Double or Nothing, with Mike Johnson adding on PWInsider that Impact Wrestling
told Allie back in January that they would not be renewing her contract as they wanted
to “refresh the roster” despite being well-liked backstage. According to backstage
reports Allie didn’t tell her Impact co-workers that she was leaving, with many only finding
out when All Elite Wrestling made the announcement yesterday. Johnson adds: “there were quite
a few people from Impact who praised her work to me today, especially her attitude from
the last set of TV tapings as she showed up and worked hard and had a great attitude towards
everyone despite being put into a difficult situation where she knew she was done.” It was announced on this week’s episode
of NXT that Tommaso Ciampa had officially vacated his NXT Championship due to injury,
with Triple H revealing that Johnny Gargano would face the winner of a fatal 5-way for
the vacant title at NXT TakeOver: New York. That winner ended up being Adam Cole Bay Bay,
with the two set to face off against each other in a 2-out-3-falls match on April 5th. But who will walk out the victor? Well it
would seem that NXT have revealed that information themselves. So we’re putting a spoiler room
brawl warning on this next bit of news so if you want to skip ahead, please use the
timestamp provided by editor Simon on screen right now. We’re heading into the Spoiler
Room Brawl in 3..2…1. A reader of WrestlingInc has sent in an advertisement
for an NXT live event in Minnesota on April 26th, which advertises a Champion vs. Champion
match between Velveteen Dream and Adam Cole Bay Bay. This would mean that Cole is set
to capture the NXT Championship in the main event of TakeOver: New York, and that Dream
will successfully defend his North American Championship against Matt Riddle on the same
show. While many might think this makes sense as Gargano made his main roster debut a few
weeks ago alongside Ciampa, Aleister Black and Ricochet, it was reported last week that
Gargano’s call-up was currently “uncertain”. But as always, CARD SUBJECT TO CHANGE as this
is just a live event and nothing official. Welcome back if you clicked the timestamp
to avoid that Spoiler Room Brawl – where we’re going to stick with NXT for a moment with
an interesting little bit of news from this week’s Wrestling Observer Newsletter. It has been heavily reported for some time
that Ronda Rousey is set to leave WWE after WrestleMania 35, looking to take time off
to start a family with her husband and security guard puncher Travis Browne. With reports
of Rousey on the outs with WWE, it has been speculated that the company might call up
fellow Horsewomen member Shayna Baszler from NXT – who is set to defend her NXT Women’s
Championship in a fatal four-way against Kairi Sane, Io Shirai and Bianca Belair at NXT TakeOver:
New York. And according to Dave Meltzer, Baszler might not be called up with her Horsewomen
buddies Jessamyn Duke and Marina Shafir – who formed a trio late last year. There was some
speculation that Duke and Shafir could get an early call-up to be alongside Rousey, which
was furthered when Duke and Shafir were missing from the last two sets of TV tapings. Meltzer instead notes that if Baszler does
get called up to the main roster, then Marina Shafir might be added to the Undisputed Era
as their new member – playing off her real life marriage to Undisputed Era member Rodderick
Strong. It should also be noted that Shafir has previously teamed with Undisputed Era
before at NXT house shows, which is often a sign that the company are heading in that
direction. This would also open up the doors for Jessamyn Duke to be pushed as a singles
star, with several reports from NXT house shows saying she’s the best and most improved
wrestler of the MMA Horsewomen. We wanted to thank everyone who joined WrestleTalk
for our first ever livestream yesterday – where myself and WrestleTalk.com and ScreenStalker’s
Pete Quinnell reviewed this week’s NXT. We’d like to apologise for the audio snafu
at the start of the recording, which was 100% the fault of Randy Andy Datson. Ahem. If all
goes to plan, Oli and I will be reviewing Raw and Smackdown in live WrestleRambles next
week – and we have plans to livestream reactions for NXT TakeOver: New York and WrestleMania
35. Again, these are plans – nothing is confirmed. That WrestleMania show is going to be very,
very long. And if you’re out and about in London tonight,
why not head down to the Prince Charles Cinema in Leicester Square to take in a screening
of the classic video game movie Street Fighter, where I’ll be doing a special intro and

  1. Adam Cole's win on Saturday against Gargano for the NXT championship will start a new era in NXT.Then at takeover before MITB Fish and O'Reilly win the tag belts while at takeover before Summerslam Strong wins North America title. All of them draped in gold into takeover War games where they win.

  2. What a waste of a perfect opportunity to finally say "It just doesn't make sense" as his two best friends fight it out…in YouTube.

  3. Hopefully the Horsewomen are called up by Survivor Series. With Ronda's new character she now fits with them and they can finally have their Horsewomen vs Horsewomen Survivor Series match. Also Duke and Shafir would be a great team to destroy Sasha and Bayley and take their tag titles, Ronda could comeback and beat the shit out of Becky Lynch and take her Raw women's title, and Charlotte could get the Smackdown women's title back, only to lose it to Shayna.

  4. CFOSS:
    Adam Cole
    Bobby Fish
    Kyle O'Reilly
    Roderick Strong
    Marina Shafir

Undisputed Era with ALL of the NXT gold would be absolute if none of them get called up to the main roster first.

  5. I really hope they add a few more Numbers to undisputed era & have them invade the main roster, trash everybody & then have Balor finally form Balor club with the likes and gallows Anderson nakamura & styles and have a huge story line.

  6. I think Kofi will win then Vince will screw him maybe the beast comes out after he loses his match to Seth then he becomes the new WWE champion Jonny wrestling will become the new NXT champion

  7. I want Gargano for the champ. His reign as the North American champ is shorter than my friends dick.

  8. with the quality of this card (with some exceptions) this years Mania just feels like 2 B-show PPVs crammed together

  9. Idk if its intentional or not but I love the fact that you guys, as well as the cultaholic guys, try to report on the Wrestlemania card like the women's raw championship match is definitely the main event(the only other match that would be acceptable is Bryan vs. Kofi). Idk if yall are intentionally doing this so everybody will be expecting it or if its just the match you think should be the main event so you talk about it like it is.

Btw i realized the first part of my comment seemed a lil sarcastic but its not meant to be, I genuinely love the way this channel reports on it by mentioning that match either first or last when going through the card, alot of other channels mention the Brock vs Seth match like its the main event(it better not be)

  10. WOW,why dont they just call this yrs mania the womens wrestlemania?!?!shit they got the headliner, which i have to admit is the most interesting this yr,but in case people have forgotten this is just rock and austin all over again, with charlotte giving it somewhat of a wrinkle!!also creative had a piss poor yr for the guys and i for do not agree with the majority who thinks they've got one of the best rosters in yrs,i dont see very much charisma right now and vince is ABSOLUTELY destroying his company bye feeding these guys mandatory scripts instead of letting at least some of them go off the cuff like rock and cena did!!cuz fans can see thru BS a mile away!!let em speak from the heart and i promise u it would be a lot better!!

  11. Hit that Subscribe button harder than Jules Gill (from Whatculture) hit on your mom! (That’s my one per comment).

  12. I wonder how many hours it'll take for Michael Cole to lose his voice. Literally my favorite part of Super long shows is when Michael loses his voice and Cory Graves and whoever else is partnered with them start getting the giggles from being there for far too long

  13. Wrestlemania 35 is only going to be an 8 hour show with 17 matches plus extra stuff I
thought it run for like 10 hours.

  14. what will take half the time at mania… all the stupid promos n ads. Booooo. id hate to be there for 8 freakin hours.

  15. WOW! CM PUNK IS GOING TO BE NXT CHAMPION CONFIRMED BY HHH ACCIDENTALLY! THATS SUCH A BIG SPOILER THAT YOU PUT IN THE SPOILER ROOM BRAWL!

  16. what cracks me up is you people think you know everything we won't know nothing until it comes out so what happens is you need to shut your mouth.

  17. So except three title matches all the remaining titles doesn't have a confirmed matches yet so they got 6 title matches to make this week wow

  18. Why doesnt jericho talk to CM punk to join AEW with just one selling point .
    ViNCE WONT BE IN CHARGE!!!!
Youlk be show cased like u shld be .
    And honestly
Cm pynk was in top in his last days in WWE . Most tv time. Storyline . Opponent's. Yeah 50/50 bookungs wigh part timers s8 what your still gwtting oaid and win tge next time.

  19. Colt Cabana vs. Toru Yano should main event this years "wrasslin' mania." not ronnie vs. becky vs. fhe-fhelir- flehir. not goat boy vs. yah mon. not bob lobster vs. middle-age, teen-angst guy who endorses people to burn things

  20. E-begging at its finest , hmmmm. . No one should ever donate to patreon.. people need to get jobs and stop living off everyone..

  21. The Raw Women's Championship is the main event of Wrestlemania 35. Becky Lynch should win this title because she is The Man.

  22. Braun Strowman confirmed for the Andre The Giant M BR……… Well that match has just had its outcome spoilt. Black/Ricochet VS Revial. Another outcome spoiler. Guess they wont win the NXT Tag Titles from War Raiders.

  23. FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK…………WHY WON’T THEY GIVE JOHNNY THE DAMN BELT…..HE DESERVES IT MORE THAN ANYONE, MORE THAN CIAMPA, MORE THAN COLE, MORE THAN ANYONE..I don’t give a fuck what you tell me, Johnny deserves the nxt championship

  24. While it would be great to see Gargano win the title, and accomplish his dream he has had for so long, it just wouldn't be right without Ciampa losing it to him. It would just undermine the whole story, and almost ruin the ending to it imo. So, I'm going to say Adam Cole BAY BAY.
