Jiu-Jitsu & Judo Submission Moves : Jiu-Jitsu & Judo Submission Moves: Heel Hooks

On behalf of Expert Village, I’m Angel Perez
with Champion Martial Arts in Miami, Florida. And today we will be teaching you judo and
jujitsu submissions. O.K., the next technique we’re going to teach you is called a heel
hook. And again remember these are all jujitsu moves. There are no leg locks in judo, period,
o.k. This time he’s going to go to his start and I’m going to start from the stand up.
O.k., Adam is going to drive his legs in between my leg and you see how he brings it back to
collapse my knee. He pushes my other knee with his other leg. He sticks my heel, my
toes under his arm pit and squeezes. And I’m going to break this down for you. He’s going
to step inside my leg, collapse my knee, push my other knee down. He’s going to bring my
toes under his arm pit, forearm around the back of my heel and he’s going to squeeze
inside. And in real life time.

  1. @Asoccerman123 That's a tough one.. Usually I'd say Judo, but I've been into Jujitsu for the past like 5-6 years, so really tough one, if you wanna have multiple locks and tons of ways to do things jujitsu would be your one, Judo is throws or at least that's what they mainly taught me, a few armbars here and there. But to tell you the truth both are great to have either one will get you going. Also best to find a good school. My teachers are my brother and friends in MMA and Some military train

  2. @Asoccerman123 …Continuing… Best to have a teacher who can get down to the details. Always ask how to do things better and even if you feel your doing it right always ask to see if you can get even better. Never settle on one way, discover new ways. Good Luck on your Journey in Martial Arts, not one style is for everyone and not everyone is for one style. Mix it up or make it your own. Respect and Honor your Family, your Friends, and yourself!
