Judo Lessons for Beginners : How to Do a Judo Back Roll

On behalf of Expert Village my name is Richard
Acuna from Champion Martial Arts in Miami, Florida, today we are showing you beginners
judo. Okay in this next clip we are going to show a back roll that is also important
when somebody get pushed to the back and you loose you balance you would be able to roll
on your back and stand back up. Here is how it shows slightly bend your knees, all the
way down, and push up, always push up with your hands, cause your palms are always going
to touch the mat. Again you chin is slightly pushed into your chest and you going to do
this. Now with enough energy and strength in your arms you would be able to do it and
just slightly come up. Do it one more time real fast a couple of times. Here.

  1. I thought the same, i've been studying shorinji kan Jitsu, but i suppose this roll always assumes the presence of a mat 🙂

  2. @KChoNguyen Everyone who has ever been to a real judo class anywhere in the world does it the way you just explained, this is an extremely bad video. You should probably also breakfall as well.

  3. @BroomeBlocker4 In my dojo why don't train backrolls. BTW look at this guys other videos lol "How to do a side pin in judo" the fu-… this is judo not wrestling -_- and there is NO such thing as a side pin in judo.

  4. guys ill make a better vid u throw ur legs in the air throw ur leg over to the floor where its on it ur other leg in the air still in the middle than jump on ur feet
