Hello, I’m Sifu Mallon with the Clearwater
Kung Fu Center. This is my assistant Melissa and this is kick boxing. We’re working on
kick combinations. This next kick combination is called switching round kick rear knee strike.
It start with we do the switch. The switch is where your front foot goes to your back,
your back foot comes forward, you bend you knees, switch your feet. From here, I’m going
to fire my rear leg round kick, step down, pull the knee up, knee strike, so a two kick
combo. Watching the combination first, Melissa has her left foot forward, I have my left
foot forward, my right hand is through the bottom, my left hand is to the top. She stays
in place, she switches her feet out, rear leg round kick, boom, she lands. As she lands,
with this front foot, my foot steps back, I turn my body this way, I bring the pad,
my right hand from the side of my ribs, to stomach. My left hand reaches forward, I bend
down, she grabs, throws a knee. As she does this, I want to keep my mouth closed, I want
to keep my tongue in, I want to exhale slightly. Again, grab the shoulders Melissa, just like
that. Full combination, one, two, step, three. Again, go, that’s it. One more time, good.
